Swim Lessons

Objective: The objective of All Swim Lessons is to make children water-safe, comfortable in the water and to improve swimming skills.

Private Lessons

Rates vary from $13 to $20 per half-hour session dependent on the experience of the instructor. Instructor calendars with available time slots are located in the sign-up binder located outside the lifeguard office. ALL abilities and ages are available for private lessons. Semi-private lessons are also available. For each additional swimmer, add half the amount per session. For example, a normal $20 lesson with one additional swimmer is $30. No registration necessary - simply sign-up for instructor and date/time. Make checks payable to instructors upon completion of lesson.

Group Lessons

Structure: One session lasts 2 weeks and costs $50. Sessions are from Monday-Thursday (8 lessons) with Friday reserved as a rain date. Each lesson is 30 minutes.

Class Requirements: A minimum of 4 people must register to create a class. The maximum number of swimmers accepted is 8 and classes are filled on a first come, first served basis

Lesson Levels:
• Beginner A: Child must be 3 years of age to enter this level
• Beginner B: Child must put face in water and float independently (on front or back) to enter this level
• Advanced Beginner: Child must be able to swim 5 meters of either crawl or backstroke to enter this level
